Llantrithyd Park is pleased to announce that the Park Shop will have extra long opening hours on the first weekend of the shop opening.

Saturday, October 4th from 14:00 until 17:00 & on Sunday, October 5th from 11:00 - 14:00

Shop Update & Online Ordering
Due to the careful management of the deer, stocks of our venison are very limited and always in high demand. Placing orders online in advance is strongly recommended, as last year’s uptake far surpassed expectations and we never overstock to ensure animal welfare and sustainability. This approach guarantees our meat remains of the highest quality: fertiliser-free, rich in flavour, and renowned for being some of the healthiest red meat available.

What’s in Store
Besides venison, we offer beautifully seasoned firewood—perfect for autumn evenings—as well as naturally shed antler dog chews, made by hand from antlers collected across the park. You’ll also find a new display of shed antlers that were gathered in March during the natural cycle when stags lose their antlers. Browse a range of park photography, capturing the beauty and wildlife of Llantrithyd Park.

Visit for Wildlife & the Rut
A visit to the shop gives a wonderful chance to see the park and, with luck, witness the start of the annual rut as our stags test their newly grown antlers in dominance displays around the grounds.

Our eight hens (not yet laying!) will be around for children to visit and King and Celt, the park horses, will be in the nearby paddock—both of whom love attention!

I almost forgot to mention Yoko, the Park Poodle (driving the tractor above!) — but be warned, once you pat her, she won’t leave your side — and Cookie, the Park Cat, who must be a truly unique animal as he loves to be cradled like a baby. Everyone will be there during shop opening hours!

We look forward to welcoming everyone on October 4th & 5th for a unique taste of true park life and naturally reared produce.
